You may have noticed there was no blog post on Monday. I was away from the computer for most of the week enjoying a week-long vacation at Disneyworld. It was an amazing thing to watch my daughters meet the princesses around the parks. To them, the stories are real. Disney is the best in the business at storytelling.
Just because I was gone did not mean I didn’t watch the website. Thanks to the WordPress app on my phone and tablet, I could track stats and read any new comments. Before I left for Florida, I set the new chapters to appear at 12 p.m. exactly on Tuesday and Thursday. Drew Hayes teased me about it and said I should have called it #ThursdayFlash.
This was a tough week to be gone. So much is happening in the story now and things are changing for the JTF recruits. I’m going to use this weekend to respond to a few comments and fix a few typos. I’m also going to put a list of Portal characters together for the readers that have trouble remembering who is who and what they can do.
P.S. By the way, if you are heading down there soon, get to Epcot early. You will need to sprint back to Norway when the gates open if you want to meet Elsa and Anna from Frozen. The line was up to four hours during the day. Even when we got there first thing, the line was still over one hour. The best trick is breakfast reservation at Akershus and time your exit when the park opens.
